The Tutok Gamutan Program is an anti-tuberculosis program based in Parola, Tondo.

It is an initiative led by KAGABAY, a non-government, youth organization whose focal objective is “to decrease the number of TB cases in their immediate community” through its program K! AKTIBO or KAGABAY, Aksyon TB Out!

It is also supported by the Department of Health and the Philippine Business for Social Progress.

The said TB clinic is the first health center located in Parola, which provides medical assistance to more than 60,000 residents in that area. This is where most of the TB patients are being monitored by KAGABAY volunteer workers everyday, to make sure that they religiously take their medicines. SuperFerry plans to fully renovate the Parola health center to maximize its use for Barangay 20 residents.

During the 3rd Search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations, or TAYO 3, the National Youth Commission and the Office of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, in partnership with the TAYO Foundation, awarded KAGABAY for the anti-TB program, where the youth organization partnered with a leading transport group to refurbished a dilapidated health center in the nearby community Parola aptly called “Pook Tutok Gamutan.”

There are many ways you can support this program.
